Body building is such a fun sport that is underestimated and somewhat labeled. When you think of a bodybuilder, you imagine a big muscular man with a tan as dark as leather and arms the size of tree trunks. But this isn’t always the right image. There are many women out there who like to body build and there are also plenty of over 50’s who body build too. So just what is it that draws all these people to bodybuilding? Well it could be the weight loss, losing belly fat for women, the muscle building or even just to keep fit.

We all secretly admire the athletes that we see working out at the gym. They have so much determination and grit that its a wonder they ever leave the gym. They spend so much time on their bodies and on their diets that it leaves time for little else. Dedication at that level must take so much discipline! Exercise over 50 is just as important as it was 20 years ago too which is why we should stay fit and healthy. We need to get at least 3 hours of exercise each week and that sort of exercise needs to make our hearts pump and our sweat pour off.
