1. Kaagaz

Pankaj Tripathi rarely disappoints and here again he started 2021 with a banger. Kaagaz is an emotional ride and Pankaj Tripathi’s acting makes it 100 times more emotional. He leads the movie from the front and never misses a beat.

He really might be the best actor in Bollywood right now and very few actors can challenge that. And it is not only acting that is brilliant in this movie. Even the plot was amazing and you will be hooked on the story from the start to the end.

2. The White Tiger

Netflix made me hope that this year might be better with The White Tiger. Just like Pankaj Tripathi in Kaagaz, Adarsh Gourav was brilliant in this. He outshined great Rajkumar Rao and Priyanka Chopra and that is a commendable job.

The movie did an amazing job showing the treatment of the lower class in our society and how it affects everyone’s mental health. There are certain scenes in the movie that are downright disturbing and beautiful.

Go and watch this movie and you won’t be disappointed.

3. Tribhanga

I never expected to see Kajol in this avatar ever. The use of F words might be a bit overused in the movie but you can look past that. Kajol is amazing and Mithila Palkar looks cute just like always.

There are some dumb things in the movie, but in the end, it is all worth it. There are so many reasons to watch this movie and so little to not watch this. I think you should really check this one out.

4. Aadhaar

Just like Kaagaz, this movie is also brilliant with a similar kind of premise. Once again Vineet Kumar Singh is brilliant and shows everyone why he is regarded as such a good actor.

This movie was released in 2019 in an event but was released in India in 2021. This is the kind of movie that you need in 2021. Just simple entertainment without much mellow drama.

5. Pagglait

If you have read Pagglait’s review on our site you will know how much we liked this movie. Pagglait took a topic that isn’t explored much in any way and made it work.

Ashutosh Rana was the real highlight of the movie and his two scenes were enough to win me over. The movie is a kind of emotional roller coaster. You won’t dislike the movie in any way. It is one of a kind of movie and you should watch it.
