Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare Season 2 Review: The second season of Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare was released yesterday and it was just like season 1. If you know what Zakir Khan usually does and like it, you will automatically like the show.

Otherwise, you can avoid it. Zakir Khan usually does one thing only and it works almost all the time. This time it is no different. He plays the same role as a nonchalant boy who lives without any worries in his own world.

The second season is nothing different from the first one, the only thing that changed was the amount of drama. This season has lots and lots of that.

And it is not just the exaggeration in drama, it is in everything. They have tried to exaggerate everything including characters, scripts, dialogues, just to show us that the stakes are really high. And for most of the part, it backfired.

The idea of dramatizing everything to a certain point works very few times and makers don’t understand that. Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare Season 2 is the best example of that.

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare Season 2 Plot

The second season starts from right where the first season ended. He now has ‘Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare’ written on his bike as well. If you have watched the first season you will know that Chachaji adopted Ronny at the end of the first season.

So his uncle is really a Vidhayak now. There was the same kind of jokes we saw in the first season. The plot revolves around Zakir only with him getting stuck in a love triangle, jealousy, and his ego.

The plot revolves slowly and even though the show has only 8 episodes, it feels like it was stuck.

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare Season 2 Cast

The show casts Zakir Khan as Ronny, Zakir Hussain as Ronny’s father, Pritha Bakshi as Shanoo, Gaurav Sharma as Santosh, and Vyom Sharma as Anwar. Other cast members are Venus Singh as Avantika Sharma, Alka Amin as Amrita, Kumar Varun as Kranti, Abhimanyu Singh as Chachaji, Rohit Kp as Rahul, Vineet Sharma as Singham, and Onima Kashyap as Tanvi.

To be honest, no one other than Zakir Khan got the limelight in the show that was needed. Kumar Varun and Vyom Sharma were just like a henchman to Ronny and didn’t serve any purpose.

Both of the love interests were side pieces from the first scene they were introduced. The only other person who impressed me with his work was Abhimanyu Singh.

He really is a good actor and he proved it here. Zakir Khan was the main focus for almost 80% of the show and still wasn’t able to impress with his performance.

In the first season, he was believable as a local boy, but this season he was overacting. The script didn’t help any actor in any way also.

Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare Season 2 Conclusion

With everything said and done, it really falls on you how you will look at the show. If you like the usual Zakir Khan stick and can ignore all the misogynistic things that were there in the show, you will like it.

Just don’t go in with some high expectations and you will enjoy it. The second season is a roller coaster ride filled with highs and lows. The high points were really good and will make you chuckle, and the low points were really bad.

Overall, it is a pretty decent show for one time watch and if you are a Zakir fan you will enjoy it.
